THE CLOSERS is a crypto-themed match-3 roguelite. Swap tiles on an 8×8 board, build your portfolio, and beat a rising target every round. Leverage climbs automatically the deeper you go. Your score grows faster, but so does the brittleness of your position. From round 2 on, every round starts with a choice: cash out and bank a real win, or push one more round and risk liquidation.

The coin is never the problem. The greed is.

You're a trader. You pick a conviction and ride it.

Features

  • 5 hero coins, each with a unique signature ability
  • 33 upgrades across 5 categories, with tiers and synergies
  • Special tiles, chain reactions, and full-board combos
  • A live market layer: candlestick chart scoring, volatility, bull markets
  • Proof of Play: every run is deterministically seeded and produces a SHA-256-sealed log. Any score can be independently verified with the built-in verifier
  • Competition keywords: share a random keyword and everyone plays the identical board sequence

[round end]

Two leaderboards: THE CLOSERS (cashed out) and THE LOSERS (liquidated). Which one you end up on is entirely your choice

Friends competition

You can have fun playing against multiple players. Just use a random 'Competition keyword' to play on the same board as your friends and use 'Proof of Play' to verify the scores. You can access these options from the game start page.

Please rewrite the instructions without using AI preferably, they are barely understandable. Also, most of your code I don't think works quite properly. I can make 4 and 5 matches, powerups don't spawn. The time-adding powerups also seem to be inconsistent on whether they work or not.

thanks for your feedback.
Will review the instructions. but didn't expect anyone to actually read them to be fair. 4 and 5 matches are possible, those give you the specials as reward.

Your pasted proof is clearly invalid as there are impossible moves added to the proof. And played beyond possible rounds. There is a limit to the chain depth of 3 which might be the reason for the perceived inconsistency.

The timing inconsistency matches with the proof. I would like to reproduce this issue to fix it. May i ask on which platform and browser did you play?
